Common Chromebook screen problems
- Cracked screen from being dropped in a school bag – panel replaced while you wait.
- Black screen but keyboard backlight on – panel or cable; we test both.

Before you book: check the auto-update date
Every Chromebook has an auto-update expiry (Settings → About ChromeOS → Additional details). If it’s already passed, the Chromebook stops getting security updates and a repair may not be worth it. If you’re unsure, text the model and we’ll check for you.
